Paryavaran Mitra runs a newsletter in Gujarati – Paryavaran Mitra since 1998 to create awareness about environmental issues amongst the Academic Institutions, Youth- based groups, Women Rights' group, NGO and others about environment and industrial pollution. Our pupose is to create a network for various organizations, academic institutions, experts and others in the field of environment so that their voices are heard, and they join us in our mission of Environmental preservation and Pollution control in Gujarat

Research, science, development, book release etc. topics were covered in six issues. Around 1400 subscribers in govt. agencies, NGO and voluntary organization, individual experts, academic institutes, libraries are registered. Regular feedback is received from our readers who appreciate and comment with suggestions for modification of further issues.

Apart from this publications Newsletter of Paryavaran Mitra is regularly published. It is a bimonthly and published in only Gujarati language. It has completed 138 issues. It contains articles on policy level changes in Environmental legislation and other burning environmental issues. (We are also sending its e-copy to interested readers). For voluntary contributions to this newsletter we suggest a minimum of Rs. 120/ p.a. for which can be sent by cash, money order, cheque or D.D. Cheque or D.D. may be send in name of ‘Janvikas CSJ LF Paryavaran Mitra’
